We were up this morning at 6.30am to hit the trail on towards the Ohio border...five miles down the line we chanced upon this amazing place, the Happy Trails Cafe run by Gary and Mary Ann Schoeny. A great place! Really decent coffee and lovely people (and Internet).

My mother just recently turned me on to your coffee. I'm delighted to know that you folks are located in my native home of Ritchie County. From now on, I will buy no more Starbucks or Millstone. It will be Happy Trails every morning for me as I make my commute from Oak Hill to Charleston along the WV Turnpike. Mom just called last night to let me know she is shipping some Hunter's Blend and Sumatra beans to me. She's awesome! I'm a big fan of Indonesian coffees so I will soon be placing an order for some of your New Guinea beans. Your website is cool. I will forward the link to my friends.

I drove from Lizella, Ga. for a visit and was SO very glad I was introduced to your wonderful Café, and the BEST latte I have ever tasted! I have traveled all over, and never has a coffee or latte impressed me as much. I think anyone would find it worth the trip to West Virginia just to sample your warm atmosphere, and your most delicious coffee. Your website is terrific and your Happy Trails Cafe is absolutely great: superb coffee and soothing, tasty Chai; wonderful breakfasts (especially the Wagon Train Omlet); and delightful lunches. The decor inside -- including the Western hotel lobby and the Parisian Cafe -- has been so carefully put together and you have outdoor seating (and will have more later) for those who crave sunlight and the view of the former Lambert Mansion and grounds across the way.
